Teresa de Hoop has been assigned as our new Student Services Coordinator (SSC). Based at Division Office, Teresa transitions into this role with long experience as an educator and most recently as a Resource Teacher at Margaret Barbour Collegiate Institute.
The role of SSC is newly reconstituted and will evolve to meet the Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning priorities outlined in the document Supporting Inclusive Schools: A Handbook for Resource Teachers in Manitoba Schools. Her role will be pivotal in providing assistance to resource teachers in supporting appropriate educational programming in Kelsey School Division schools schools. The SSC supports resource teachers and other educators working in an inclusive school environment to address the diverse needs of all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
