Pride Month
In recognition of Pride Month – a time to celebrate the forward strides toward acceptance and equality – the Kelsey School Division is committed to raising awareness of LGBTQ2S+ issues. Together we will work to reduce stigma through education, embrace gay-straight alliances and queer-straight alliances in our schools. KSD aims to provide our students and staff with welcoming, caring, respectful, safe, healthy and inclusive learning and working environments that respect diversity, promote equity, and foster a sense of belonging.
Community Event
June is nationally recognized as Pride Month in Canada. Many of our students, parents, caregivers, staff and community members identify as LGBTQ2S+. The community is invited to show support by attending the Tri-Community Pride Parade at 2 pm on Saturday, June 11.
